So I've had both of my summer school classes this last week and they both seem really good. I love my psychology class and my math class is pretty awesome except for this one girl, haha. Anyways I have a job interview today! I'm so excited. It is at the Cathy Jean shoe store at the Irvine Spectrum. Hopefully I get the job so I can finally save up for a new car!

This is the car that I want:

It is a 2010 Chevy Camaro. I fell in love with it instantly! It has the exact sports car appearance that I would want, that isn't a Lamborghini ;) Its about $23,000 for the lowest model but I don't care, I don't need the luxury edition although I would definitely get it if I could afford it. I think I would get the dark silver color. Its not too light and it isn't too dark. It's also not too flashy because I would never get a car in red, especially a sports car. I can just hear the sirens now. It will take me a while, but with the egg donation process almost complete, and the $4,000 that comes with it, I would just need to save for a few months with hopefully my new job and then a few months worth of car payments and then I can get it! I'd obviously have to have my dad co-sign because I don't have credit yet, but his credit is very good so I'm happy! I'll write more soon!

First Day of Summer School!

Today was my first day of summer school! I had math this morning for three hours! I thought it would be awful but it actually wasn't that bad. The teacher is pretty good, I just do problems the way I was taught last semester. Tomorrow I have my Psychology class for the first time and its from 6pm-10pm. SO LONG! Oh well, I've heard it's a really interesting class so I'm pretty excited for it!

I finally have something to do this Summer! I'm going on a houseboat trip with my friend Mellissa during the last week of summer and I'm so excited! House boat trips are so fun!

I'll write more soon!

Finals are over!

Finals are finally over! I couldn't be happier. I think I did pretty good in all my clases overall, except for English! I got a D because the class was way to hard for me. I was pretty upset but I just have to re-take it now in the fall.

I'm taking summer school this summer unfortunately ): But there is one more math class and 3 more credits out of the way! I'm taking math 253: intermediate algebra, at IVC with Mellissa and Psychology 5: Aspects of Human Sexuality at Saddleback, also with Mellissa. They start next week and end on the 5th of July!

Write again soon!

Home Alone!

I'm home alone! This weekend my parents and some friends went to Las Vegas for my mom's 50th birthday! That means I've got the house to myself! No parties though, my parents would kill me. The good news is that they're letting my boyfriend stay with me for the two nights that they are gone. This is going to be one of the best weekends ever!

Anyways, this was just a quick post, as I'm trying to get in the habit of posting here.

First Blog

I never thought that I would start a blog, but why not. Hopefully I can keep it up-to-date and actually use it! To start, here's a little bit about me:

My name is Danielle Stirling. I'm 18 years old and I'm currently finishing up my freshman year of college. Less than a week to go! Unfortunately, I'm taking summer school but it's all good
because that will be six more credits out of the way.

I'm not really sure what I want to major in yet. I was leaning towards creative writing because I really want to write a book and it's a pretty fun process if you have the right motivation. I've also been thinking about majoring in geophysics or geology. I'm super obsessed with earthquakes and I find them so fascinating! The only downfall is that I need calculus classes and I'm not the best at math ): If none of those work out I think I'll just major in geography. I have a love for science; its my best subject. For a more practical solution to the biggest question in my life right now (which is what do I want to do as a career?) is getting a certificate as an Ultrasound Technician (or a Sonographer).

I really love traveling! I've been to England, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico and Taiwan. Most of my family lives in England and I actually lived in Taiwan when I was five for my dad work. Pretty cool I guess.

I really hope I can keep this blog going; it seems like a really cool thing to do! I'll write again soon!
